Hullo! My name is Tracey and I am the owner of WhirlyBuds LLC. My background starts in import/export shipping, owning a picture framing business, running a nanny agency, and finally swapping nannies for children and fun adventures! I have been teaching creative movement for toddlers and pre K , for 6 years and yes, time does fly when you are having fun. I teach at various daycare centers in West Seattle and Burien.
I am an enthusiastic gardener, love walking with my sidekick fur baby Lute, kayaking and hiking in the beautiful PNW, reading, musical and theater, and best of all, hanging out with my daughter and family. It truly is a good life.
George Bernard famously said, ” we don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing”. On any given day I am singing, wiggling, hopping, jumping, rolling, twirling, going on adventures to the moon or the ocean, acting out stories with the kiddos from painters to cats – we do it all. I have the best “job” – is having fun a job…?
There is nothing that beats being greeted with smiles, hugs and yay; it’s dance class. I love watching these kiddos engage, test and enjoy themselves. Did I mention the best job ever?

The Company
Our aim is to delight and inspire children through dance.
We partner with childcare centers in the Seattle area to provide onsite dance classes to preschool-aged boys and girls. We offer parents a convenient opportunity to introduce their young ones to the exciting world of rhythm and motion.
Our classes cultivate a positive environment for children to be imaginative, curious, and expressive. Dance is an incredible outlet for energetic and quiet kids alike.
We introduce young movers to the structure, discipline, and self-awareness that dance offers, in a fun, exciting, creative manner. It is a simply magical experience to get lost in dance. We want to share the love of dance with Seattle’s littlest “buds”.
